This is not a pattern by Bert Quimby .... just a fly, created by me . Paying tribute to Bert Quimby and his art of tying beautiful Maine Srreamers. ... He lived in Windham Maine .... by Sebago Lake. He had a small camp/business called Quimby's . He sold flies, bait, taclke etc... and even rented boats. you could launch your boat there, these folks had everything you needed except the Landlock salmon . He originated the " Green Ghost" streamer fly and some other well know patterns. He had a love for tying & fishing . Here is a beautiful salmon targeted pattern originated by me I'm calling the" Quimby Special". Hope he's still fishing 😇
